Welcome

Special Announcement:  Due to inclement weather, trash pickup is postponed until a later date.  Our trash trucks will not be running until further notice.  Our Public Works team is working hard on our city streets.

Cave City Police Chief Paul Reynolds said the road conditions in Cave City will continue to deteriorate as temperatures begin to fall and urges the public to use caution if travel is necessary.
“Roads will continue to worsen as temperatures fall,” Reynolds said. “Please ensure if you must travel that precautions are made to have extra blankets and essentials such as food, water, flashlights, jumper cables, and other necessities while traveling.”
Barren County Emergency Management officials have stressed for individuals to stay home, if possible.
